Adventure Race : Golf, Basketball shoot, Kayak, Bike, Run

2011 :

The Greatest Physical Agility event of the western USA in beautiful Roseburg, Oregon the heart of the gorgeous Umpqua Valley with it's many lakes, streams and scenary.

This event will thrill you and test your skill and fortitude with five great events to test even the best!

Do you have what it takes to be the "Master of the Tour"?

Participants will begin with 9 holes of Golf then off to shoot 10 shots at the Basketball hoop then Kayak down the famous North Umpqua River (between two county boat landings) then Run across town (Roseburg) on a predetermined route to the finish line.

The event will take place on Saturday 0800 sharp and ending at 1800 with the Trophies and awards ceremony taking place Sunday afternoon at 1300.

Top prize for Master of the Tour: $500 and UVTAT "Master of the Tour" Trophy

1st thru 6th place to recieve monetary award and trophy,

7th thru 15th place to recieve gift card and certificate.

All participants recieve a tee shirt as part of their registration package.

This is the first annual event and sponsors and volunteers are needed, please contact us ASAP.

Course Information:

Event begins at 0800 at Stewart Park Golf Course.
Golf, 3-9 holes (depending on number of participants)
Basketball Hoop Shoot, 10 shots at the hoop.
River Kayaking, a multifaceted skills level section of the North Umpqua River from Amacher County Park boat ramp downstream to River Forks Park boat ramp, approx. 6.5 miles.
Mountain Biking, from River Forks Park boat ramp to Winchester Elementary School. (Approx. 6.5 miles)
Running, from Winchester Elementary School to Roseburg High School track. (Approx.7.5 miles)
Event ends at 1800 at Roseburg High School Track.

Directions:

Roseburg, Oregon on Interstate 5 mile marker 125.

Other Info:

Each participant will recieve a participant packet with rules, maps, local coupons etc. and Official UVTAT Tee Shirt with their numbered placard to be pinned and worn on the shirt during event.

July 17th at 1:00 pm will be the Award ceremony with presentation of Prizes and Trophies etc. at Roseburg High School Grandstands.
