2011 Duathlon at Brunswick Forest:
- Duathlon in a beautiful planned community on smooth pavement and through pretty running areas.
- Individual and 2-person Team entries.
- $50 for individual and $75 for teams.
- Awards ceremony in a park setting with free beer and chow, prize drawings, music, and 3-deep awards in 5 year age groups.
- Pre and post-race bathrooms and changing areas inside Brunswick Forest's state-of-the-art Fitness Center.
Course Information:
5K Run - 16 mile Bike - 2 mile Run
- The 5K and 2 mile runs are on paved running trails, over wooden bridges, and through a beartiful park.
- The bike course is 2-loops on smooth pavement with no highway traffic, although roads are open to local traffic.
- No pesky hills or surprises but there are wide U-turns at each end of the course.
- Course maps will be posted on teh 5 Star Race Productions website.
Directions:
- Brunswick Forest is 5.7 miles south of Historic Downtown Wilmington on Highway 17.
