USAT Coach and author of "Fearless Swimming For Triathletes" will give you the tools and skills necessary to manage fear factors of triathlon swimming. This clinic is more about educating participants about staying calm than it is about getting to the podium. Land instruction followed by water work and optional 500M swim.
Topics will include: Fear of deep murky water, crowds, wetsuit issues, navigation and sighting, cold water, seasickness,panic attacks, equipment that can help and most important, how to remain calm and in control in races.
Participants should be able to swim 500M/yards without difficulty in the pool.
Wetsuits are required. Includes wetsuit rental and copy of "Fearless Swimming For Triathletes" book, as well as goody bag from our sponsors.
