2011 Olalla Lake Off-Road Sprint Triathlon:

  • Olalla Lake is a beautiful in-land reservoir nestled among tree covered hills, and is the perfect setting for a Triathlon. 
  • The lake itself makes for a great swim course and the run and the bike portions will take place on the footpaths and logging roads surrounding the lake.

    • Course Information:


  • We are looking at changing our bike route slightly from last year. But dont worry the concept will remain the same, a challenging off-road bike course, mainly on logging roads, with steep hill-climbs, pot holes, and loose gravel.
  • Although the hills may cause you to breathe a little hard, there is plenty of fresh air here in the heart of logging country.

    • Directions:


  • Olalla Rd. is about 7 miles east of Newport on Highway 20.
  • Olalla Road dead ends at the lake.
  • The transition is right next to the parking lot.
