2011 Cheyenne Sprint Triathlon & Aquabike:

  • The 2011 Cheyenne Sprint Triathlon has announced a race date of Sunday July 10, 2011.
  • Due to planned road construction on the bike course used in past year's events, the 2011 event will be moved to Curt Gowdy State Park located 25 miles west of Cheyenne, WY.
  • Curt Gowdy state park will provide a very scenic and challenging course.
  • Although there will not be a pool course option, there will be a sprint swim course triathlon in addition to the standard sprint swim course. And like last year, the Aquabike event will be offered in addition to a sprint duathlon event !!!

    • Course Information:

  • 600 meter open water swim. Time trail start with chip timing.
  • Out & back 10 mile bike course with some rolling hills.
  • 3.1 mile flat running course.
