- The Mustang Mudder 5K, presented by Madison Academy in partnership with ABF, is the first family friendly Mud Run with obstacles offered in North Alabama. The 5K (3.1 miles) obstacle course situated on the beautiful campus of Madison Academy in Madison, Alabama This family-friendly fun mud run is open to anyone over the age of 12. Runners can expect to slip, slide, climb, jump, slog and swing their way to a fun finish where food, refreshments and music are waiting.
Course Information:
The Mustang Mudder will challenge participants with 10-15 obstacles along and through Indian Creek and the adjacent wooded areas on campus. Our obstacles are designed for everyBODY. With 2-3 variations of each obstacle, the runner can choose the difficultly level of the obstacle based on their fitness level. We will be running multiple heats including one for elite racers and an open heat for racers ages 12 and up. We will have a race clock, but runners will be responsible for their own time tracking. The object is to have fun and complete the run, not to finish first.
