_ 2017 Ozark Valley Triathlon:
The swim portion of all events will take place in Lake Weddington, where the water temp is on average between 75 to 85 degrees. The course will be point to point in a rough rectangle, bouys to the right.
There is a single transition area will a 200 meter slight uphill climb from swim to bike transition.
Bike course is a local favorite of both triathletes and cyclists. The course is on paved roads with a rolling terrain. The toughest hill, Weaver Hill, on the course comes at the 6 mile mark. It starts and finishes gradually, however it has a steep section in the middlle and is a .5 mile climb
The run is a partially shaded, rolling two-loops course on paved roads completely inside the park, which provides great spectator viewing. There is one tough hill on each loop, which has been given several names that we can't print.

International - 1000 yd Swim, 19 mile Bike, 4 mile Run
Aquabike - 1000 yd Swim, 19 mile Bike
