Our 2016 swim festival is a 2-day event. On Saturday, 9/10/16 we’ll host a 9.11 mile Memorial Swim (limit to 30 swimmers, must have kayak escort), and Sunday 9/11/16 we’ll offer a 2 mile, 1 mile, .5 mile and 100m kid swim. This festival is more than our 4 planned swim races – it’s about bringing the business community, volunteers and athletes together to raise awareness and funds for our animal charities. Swims are sanctioned by World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA)
Course Information:
The course for the 9.11 mile swim on 9/10/2016 is a large loop on the open lake where you will stay close to the shore lines. Course for 9/11/2016 is one mile loop starting at Flash Marina. In water start.
Directions:
Northern tip of Lake Hopatcong, NJ. Registration and Event held at Flash Marina, 155 Route 181, Lake Hopatcong NJ 07849. From Rt 80, Rt 15 North to 181 North/Lake Forest/Woodport exit (approx. 6 miles), follow to Rt 181 (first available right after you exit and cross over Rt 15), then approx 1.4 miles on Rt 181 and Flash Marina is on your left before you cross over water. Parking available.
