   THE GREAT AMAZiNG RACE (GAR), modeled after the TV show, is a race in which teams of two people race through an obstacle course in competition with other teams. Clue cards provided at each station directs teams to perform a task (together) before advancing to next station. How well teammates work together (collaborate & communicate) is the most essential skill to winning the race.
  It's way more fun than a 5K! Medals are awarded to each division winner that arrives with the fastest time. Be prepared to get a little dirty & wet - it's part of the fun!

RACE INFO
1. 1.5 mile cross country course with up to 8 challenges.
2. 2 person teams - adult/adult, adult/kid or kid/kid ... kids grades K-12..
3. 3 challenge levels ... easy, intermediate & difficult .. based on age & fitness level of racers. 
4. 4 race divisions ... based on grade of youngest member ... Grades K-2 / 3-5 / 6-8 / 9-Adult. 
5. Racers can receive a free souvenir backpack ($12 value) by sharing with 8+ people on Facebook or Google plus.
6. Race happens rain or shine ... plan on 60 minutes to complete the course. 
7. Top 25 teams qualify for Championship Race and chance to win $1,200.
