Join Us for Our Inaugural Swim the Bay for DBMS
When: Saturday, September 10th, 2016 at 7:00am (rain date – September 11th)
Where: Duxbury Bay Maritime School, Duxbury, MA.
Who can participate: Swimmers (solo or kayak escorted), Stand Up Paddleboarders (SUP) and Kayakers travel the 1.5 miles across the Bay to Duxbury Beach to raise money to support DBMS programming and outreach initiatives.
Course Information:
The 1.5 miles swim/paddle takes place in Duxbury Bay, and is a point-to-point course beginning at DBMS’ rowing docks and ending on Duxbury Beach, just south of the bridge.
Other Info:
Registration Fee: Participants can register as an individual or as part of a team (1 swimmer, 1 kayaker, 1 paddleboarder).
Registration for an individual is $50. Team registration is $100. (This fee is non-transferable and non-refundable).
Fundraising Requirement: Individual participants must fundraise a minimum of $150 (excludes registration fee). Teams must fundraise a minimum of $300 (excludes registration fee). Prizes will be awarded for top individual and top team fundraisers.
All registered athletes, including kayak escorts, will receive a 1st Annual Swim the Bay for DBMS long-sleeve Tech T-shirt!
