2011 Connections Duathlon:

  • The event will start with a 14 mile bike loop from Downtown Dunkirk through Downtown Fredonia before looping back to the Dunkirk Pier. Memorial park will serve as the transition area from the biking to the running portion of the event.
  • The 5K run proceeds from Memorial Park to Point Gratiot and back.
  • The race will, therefore, finish at Memorial Park.
  • An awards ceremony with food and beverages will be held at the SUNY Fredonia Business Technology Incubator following the race.
