The Lowcountry Red Ribbon 5K & Walk is an joint fundraiser benefiting Lowcountry AIDS Services & The Ryan White Wellness Center. This annual event has grown since 2009 to become an official, timed 5K run – and the only HIV/AIDS walk in the Lowcountry. The Red Ribbon 5K & Walk continues to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS to eliminate the stigma and shame associated with the disease. This year, the Red Ribbon 5K & Walk will take place at Wannamaker Park followed by an after-party of food, music, fun and games.

Check In: 8 a.m.

Shotgun Start:  9:15 a.m.

Post Race After-Party: 9:30 a.m. - noon

Online Registration (available until September 8th)

Individual Registration: $30

Team Registration: $10 one time set up fee + $25/pp

Onsite Registration (available on September 10th)

Individual Registration: $35

Team Registration: $10 one time set up fee + $30/pp

*Please arrive between 8 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. to complete registration paperwork.

Packet Pick Up

Bib numbers and event bags will be available at Lowcountry AIDS Services on Friday, September 9th from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. You will also be able to pick up your race packets on the day of the event.

Post Race After-Party 

Immediately following the run/walk, the after party will begin with food, music, games, and fun! We’ll host some of Charleston’s best vendors to include food trucks, cold beverages, and DJ Trevor D!

Parking

Parking will be available inside the park around the Tupelo Shelter. There will be signs posted in the park, but you can ask the park attendant for directions. 

Park Entrance Fee

The park entrance fee will be waived for all event participants. Please notify the park  attendant of your participation and they will direct you to the Tupelo Shelter.
