This race is about proudly carrying the USA Flag as we run /walk a 5K in the Nations Capital. We will be honoring the men and women who currently (and previously) served this great Nation. These are our heroes who truly "RUN THE NATION" Thank You All For Your Service.
This will be a Walk / Run on the Capital Cresant Towpath in Georgetown On July 2, 2016 2016 at 8:00 AM Sharp.
Each participant will get a mini USA Flag and custom medal (bling) to remember this Inaugural event for years to come.
***KIDS RUN / WALK FOR FREE***
Registration for kids will be onsite the day of the race. We will order additional medals but ask that you make a kind donation of your choosing to help with the cost of their medal if you would like your child to receive one.
REMEMBER: It's always fun to walk or run in groups. So sign up early to take advantage of the discounted pricing. We will be ordering medals on June 1st based on the registration count so they get back to us on time. Help us out by registering early.

Time: The race will begin at 8:00am
Course: Is an out and back on the Capital Crescent Towpath
Bib Pickup - Will begin at 7:00am at 3700 Water Street
Parking - There is plenty of metered parking on Water St. as well as garage parking.
Bag Check - There will be a free bag check at the starting line
In addition the the above, each participant will get a custom Medal for signing up.
Race Time Results - Will be posted on www.dcrunningclub.com website after the race
