Texas aims to bring attention to rarely recognized diseases
3rd Annual TX Walk to Fight Lyphedema & Lymphatic Diseases
Plano, TX - June 9, 2016 - Hundreds of people will gather to walk the track at John Paul High School II in Plano, TX on Saturday, October 15 to build communtiy, garner attention for lymphedema and lymphatic diseases, and raise much-needed funding for the Lymphatic Education & Research Network's education, research and advocacy. BSN Medical and Tactile Medical are Presenting Sponsors.
Lymphedema and lymphatic diseases remain unknown to most people despite affecting up to 10 million Americans - that's more than AIDs, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, musclar dystrophy and ALS combined. People affected by lymphedema and lymphatic diseases can be of all ages and backgrounds.
