Saturday and Sunday, May 20 & 21, 2017 the 2nd Annual Typhoon Texas Kids Triathlon will take place at Typhoon Texas Waterpark in Katy, Texas. The triathlon takes place the weekend before the park's opening weekend and comes complete with private usage of the park after the event (free ticket with registration, family and friends additional cost). In 2017 we will split the event into 2-days with the Juniors (ages 6-10) racing on Saturday, May 20 and the Seniors (ages 11-15) racing on Sunday, May 21. Juniors will race a 100-meter swim, 2-mile bike, and 1-mile run while the Seniors race a 200-meter swim, 4-mile bike, and 2-mile run.
