 - This is an adventure race and includes approximately 3-4 miles of trail running, 7-14 mile mountain bike, 25 - 35 minute canoe & mystery events. The race is designed to take 1.5 - 2.5 hours on average. This is a 2-person team race (not a relay) where both racers must stay together the entire time. You may also do this race solo. We give you mileage ranges above because each of the 4 races in this series has different terrain and we adjust the distance to meet the predicted finish times above, so the easier the course, the longer the distance, and the more difficult the course, the shorter the distance.

Course Information:

 - Dinosaur Valley State Park - Long ago, dinosaurs left footprints in the mud at the edge of an ancient ocean. Today, you can walk in their tracks in the bed of the Paluxy River. This long trip to the past is just a short drive from Fort Worth in Glen Rose. Come out and find dinosaur tracks, camp, picnic, hike, mountain bike, swim and fish in the river, watch for wildlife, look for a geocache, ride your horse, or visit the interpretive center.
