- The fourth edition of the Adrenaline Rush will take place in October 1, 2016 at Pocahontas State Park! The Adrenaline Rush offers a 6 hour and a 12 hour race course.
The 6 hour Adrenaline Rush Adventure Race is a great race for the beginner or intermediate adventure racer. It’s also a great change of pace for sprint or olympic distance triathletes, or next step for competitors in races like the Tough Mudder or Muddy Buddy. If you are fit and can read a map (even a little), you can do this race. The navigation won’t be too tricky, the format will be straight forward, and you’ll without a doubt have an amazing experience in and around one of Virginia’s most beautiful state parks.
The 12 hour Adrenaline Rush Adventure Race is a great race for those racers with some AR experience who are ready to go a little longer and a little farther. If you have some mountain biking experience, some navigation experience and have always wanted to race in the dark this race is for you. With a 9pm finish you will be challenged with racing in the dark! This race will also challenge the more experienced racer.
