2016 Ready, Set, Tri - Sprint Triathlon:
Open water 500 meter swim, outdoor 8-9 mile bike and 5K around a beautiful lake.
In an effort to keep Marion County fit, active and healthy we will be hosting a Ready, Set, Tri triathlon on August 27th, 2016 at the Marion County Lake! All proceeds from the event will go to the Can Be Healthy Marion initiative. This group consists of five members from the community that are dedicated to making Marion a safe and fun place to be active.

Course Information:
500 meter swim, 9 mile bike, 5K run
Start the day off with an open water 500 meter swim across the Marion County Lake. Emerge from the water on a sand beach and take off on your bike through historic Marion and back to the lake. Transition, and finish the race with a 5K run that will challenge you as you go up and down hills around the beautiful Marion County Lake. Stay around for after the race for awards, great food and conversation.
