A truly one of a kind test of strength and endurance. A race like no other. A chance to prove you or your team are the best athletes around. The 5 most difficult climbing courses, each requiring more strength and balancr than the last, combined with a 5k footrace.
The Adventure Park at Sandy Spring is proud to bring you the remastered Challenge Industry award winning competition. This is Iron Monkey 2016. We are looking for the best.
Check in will begin at 7:00am and the race will begin at 8. You will begin the race by running a 3k through the woods. Once you have completed section 1 of the race you will harness up and head into the trees to complete the 5 most difficult courses the largest climbing park in North America has to offer. Once back on the ground, to finish the competition you will then complete the remaining 2k run. We will time each competitor and the person/team with the best overall time will be the Iron Monkey 2016 Champion.
The first place (Individual Winner) will take home an unlimited season pass. Second and Third place will receive free climbing vouchers. All participants will receive an Iron Monkey T-Shirt.
Early Registration Cost- $110. Prices will increase on the day of the event. Spaces are limited.
Participants must be at least 15 years old or have completed the special "Run the Gauntlet" training.
