All proceeds benefit the Visalia Emergency Aid Council. Race Against Hunger provides critical funding that helps meal assistance and clothing to more than 800 families (2500 children) in need each month.

Go the Distance with Visalia Emergency Aid Council in our 11th Annual “Race Against Hunger”. VEAC understands that the problems created by childhood hunger are many. Our experience has shown that hunger and malnutrition have a drastic effect on a child's long-term health, growth, and behavior. In short, no child should have to endure the physical and emotional pain caused by hunger, especially when the means of prevention are available for distribution. The “Race Against Hunger” provides the capital needed for the VEAC to provide an entire turkey dinner to over 1,200 families and their children (5,000) on Thanksgiving Eve, as well as Christmas Eve. VEAC also provides approximately, 5,000 children with an age-appropriate toy, blanket, and warm jacket during the holidays. Thank you for helping the Visalia Emergency Aid in its Mission.
