2016 Blizzard Run 5K:
Have you ever participated in a 5k? How about a 5k that ended with a DQ Blizzard at the finish? Interested?
DQ Roosevelt is hosting a first ever 5k run/walk to benefit the Children's Miracle Network and the Penn State Children's Hospital in Hershey, Pa. Our goal is to raise $10,000. Will you join us?

BLIZZARD RUN 5K RUN/WALK:
The race with the coolest finish: 1) Each participant gets a DQ Blizzard at the end of the race and 2) We all raise money to help kids at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
The Blizzard Run 5k (3.1 miles) is for the whole family. We will have timing chips for accurate race time for serious runners. Walkers are also encouraged to join. It will begin at Sunset Lane Park, continue through a neighborhood and end at the park. Pets and strollers are welcome!
KIDS FUN RUN:
The obstacle course with the coolest finish: 1) Each kid gets an ice cream sandwich at the end of the race and 2) We all raise money to help kids at Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital.
The Kid's Fun Run is going to be a blast for all kids ages 3 - 10. We will have a fun obstacle course for your kids or grandkids to enjoy. Plenty of volunteers will be present to make sure your kids have a fun and safe experience.
Course Information:
The race will start at 9:00 am at Sunset Lane Park in West Manchester Township.
- Course is generally flat on a combination of park trails, public roads and side walks
- Traffic cones will be set out to ensure everyone understands the course
- There is a water stop between miles 2 and 3
- Walkers and runners welcome
- Race day registration opens at 8:00 am
- For preregistered runners/walkers/kids race packets can be picked up at the DQ Grill & Chill at 1740 Roosevelt Ave, York PA
