The race starts and transitions will be at the Brookside Boat Landing. The race will begin with a 1.5 mile paddle on the channel and Bancroft Bay, racers will then transition to a 9 mile bike through Albert Lea area countryside, then finish with a 3.1 mile run around part of Fountain Lake. The event will not be chip timed, but will be timed locally.
Packet Pickup: 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 20 at Country Inn & Suites or 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 21 at Brookside Boat Landing. For hotel and restaurant options, please go to albertleatourism.org
Entry fee includes t-shirt, meal ticket, and canoe/kayak rental.
All proceeds from this event are being provided to the Albert Lea Splash Pad project!
Deadline to register on-line is Friday, May 13, 2016. Registrations will be accepted in person at packet pickup on May 20 and on race day May 21.
