A beautiful out and back on Cochran Road, from the Old Round Church in Richmond, VT. Turn-around happens slightly before the canoe access-we will have people assisting with this. Please park at the Volunteer's Green in Richmond, right before the big red bridge, and walk across the bridge to the Round Church (~2minutes).
This race is a fundraiser for a mission trip to Nicaragua in June, as part of a public health nursing class at Norwich University. A small group of nursing students will be providing health care, education, new shoes, and other services that many Nicaraguans would otherwise not have access to. All proceeds of this race will go directly towards this trip (which includes purchasing medications and medical supplies, as well as trip cost). Come out Saturday morning with your families, friends, coworkers; or just come by yourself!
T-shirts are being custom made by a great company called Fund the Nations, who works with people raising money for trips like this one. Designs should be available on 4/7 and will be posted on this registration form. For those who would not like a t-shirt, registration is $20. The t-shirts are available for $5.00. For those who wish to purchase a T-shirt, registration must be submitted by midnight on April, 24, 2016. Some extra t-shirts will be available the day of the race, but there is no guarantee. Race-day registration is available, but these runners cannot be guaranteed a t-shirt.
