The 22nd September Splash Open Water Challenge is planned for Sept. 24 in Wildwood Crest, NJ. Join us bayside as we host 3 swim races in the "Sunset Lake" portion of the bay, with a 2 mile, 1/4 mile and 1 mile race. Hosted by the Wildwood Crest Dolphins Swim Team, young and old are welcome to come out for a fun-filled challenge. The 2 mile is the first race, starting at 8:45 a.m. Electronic registration is discounted. Day of race registration fee is $40.
Course Information:
The course is a double loop for the 2 Mile race, a single loop for the 1 Mile race and an out and back for the 1/4 Mile race. On course guidance provided by Beach Patrol Lifeguards staffing the event. No missing a turn!
Directions:
Take Exit 4A off the Garden State Parkway into Wildwood. Turn right onto Pacific Ave. and proceed to Miami Ave. Plenty of street parking available. Note: New Jersey Ave. is usually closed for Seafarer's Festival, so plan on Pacific Ave. or cross-street parking.
