16th annual Tejas Triathlon will host up to 800 triathletes for an awesome sprint distance race with a 600 yard swim, 12 mile flat and fast bike, and a shaded 3 mile run. The race will be at Pecan Park in the New Territory sub-division of Sugar Land, Texas, near the intersection of Hwy 99 and Hwy 90. The man-made lake in New Territory is an ideal setting for novice triathletes as well as experienced veterans. The water temperature will be very warm-well above the 78 degree cut-off for wetsuits. The bike course is flat but windy and leads into a 3 mile shaded loop that ends underneath 100 year-old pecan trees.

Individuals:
$80 through March 31
$90 April 1 - April 30
$100 May 1 - May 30 (or until race sells out)
Relays (per Team):
Teams may be made up of two or three members.

$135 May 1 - May 21 (or until race sells out)
Awards
Awards will be given out to the overall Male and Female and overall Master's Male and Female. Age group awards will go 3 deep. Age groups will begin at 14 & under and go in 5 year increments through 75+. There will be Clydesdale (men over 220 lbs.) and Athena (women over 165 lbs.) weight division awards at 3 deep. Relay awards will go 3 deep in men's, women's, and co-ed categories.
