Highmark and the Meadville Family YMCA proudly present the 8th anual DamTri Triathlon and youth triathlon.
Event is held in scenic Woodcock State Park just outside Meadville, PA. Swim is in Woodcock Creek Lake. The cycling portion follows the lake and is on rural, but hilly, roads. Finally, a run through the state park and for the Olympic Participants over and back a 1 mile dam. Youth triathlon is held entirely within the park and does not venture onto public roads.
Adult race also features an elite/open catergory with $1,200 in cash prizes for the top finishers.
New this year, in partnership with the Edinboro Triathlon, anyone that participates in both events will receive a special Kilted Beaver medal upon completion of the DamTri. Those that participate in the same distance at each event will have their times totaled and the top males and females for combined sprint and combined Olympic will receive special awards.
