1st Annual 5 "Kill"-ometer Zombie Apocalypse, created by students at the Gate Institute at Procter R. Hug High School.

Do you have what it takes to survive the apocalypse?

The 5 "KILL"-o-meter zombie run is filled with dangerous obstacles and ravenous zombies.** (Not really dangerous, we just named our obstacles super scary names!)  You will be faced with 8-12 obstacles over 5km (3.1 miles) and will run through mulitple Zombie Zones where they will try to take one of your three survivor flags.  You can sign up as either a runner/walker or as a Zombie. No matter which way you go, it'll be sure to keep your heart racing.

The race will be held at Bartley Ranch Regional Park, Saturday, April 30, 2016.  Race will start at 10am with waves of 25 runners being released every 5 minutes.  This is an untimed event, we just want you all to survive!  Runners and walkers are welcome, bring the whole family.  Due to the nature of the event and the course baby strollers and dogs are NOT allowed on the course.

Spectators are allowed, but parking is limited, so "innocent bystanders" must carpool with zombies and/or runners.

Packet pick-up will be held onsite the morning of the race, from 9:00am to 10:00am.

All registration fees are non-refundable but you are allowed to transfer reigstration to another person for a small fee.  All changes have to be made by April 15th and can be made through the Active site.

Included in the cost for runners is an event t-shirt and a survivor award.  Zombies may purchase a t-shirt for an additional fee.

The week of the race we will be sending an email to all participants with details such as:  course map, recommendations on what to bring, and what to expect.
