The “5th Believe in Heroes Memorial Day Run” will take place on Saturday, May 28, 2016. This event consists of a 10K run, 5K run/walk and Kids fun run. The start/finish area is at the Starlight Cinema Parking lot. The runs take place in the Los Lunas/Huning Ranch neighborhood while viewing the “El Cerro De Los Lunas” and “Manzano Mountains.”
This is a non-profit event with entry fees and donations benefiting the “Wounded Warrior Project,” "Blue Star Mothers of Valencia County," "Military Order of the Purple Heart," "VFW Post 9676 Los Lunas," VFW Post 2387 Belen," "Pueblo of Isleta Veterans," and other area Veteran organizations. What a great way to begin the Memorial Day weekend by participating in this worthwhile event.
These Military Organizations seeks to assist those men and women of our current and retired armed forces who have served our Nation. L.I.V.E., Inc. is also there to support the financial needs of these Veteran organizations while enlisting their public support.
