This event will be held at the Watauga County Parks and Recreation Department. Swim is in the pool; bike and run on the Greenway Trail. There are 3 age groups and distances: 8&under: swim 50m, bike 1 mile, run 0.5miles; 9-12: swim 100m, bike 3 miles, run 1 mile; and 13-18: swim 200m, bike 4 miles, run 1.5 miles.
Additional Information & Event Schedule:
Race starts at 10am. Arrive at 9am for check in, setup, bodymarking, and pre-race meeting. Helmet required for bike portion. Parents can help and accompany younger children on the course, but no alduts on bikes on the course. Kickboard use is permitted in the water. Children must take bikes back to the transtion area themselves after biking and before running.
