_ 2016 Cameron Triathlon:
This is a great event for the beginner to the experienced triathlete.
All events will begin and end at Recreaton Park. The 200 meter swim is serpentine style in a 50 meter swimming pool. The 8 mile bike is an out and back course through gently rolling hills in the countryside. The 2.1 mile run is out and back on a relatively flat course.
Event details and schedule
Packet pick up will take place at the Cameron Regional YMCA, 1903 N. Walnut on Fri. July 22nd from 8:00 am t0 8:00 pm or on race day at Recreation Park beginning at 5:45 am. ALL participants will need to check in by 6:30 am on race day in order to receive your race number.
Participants must report to the pool deck no later than 6:45 am for pre-race instructions.
There will be NO race day registrations!!
Course Information:
200 meter swim, 8 mile bike and 2.1 mile run
• The swim takes place in an outdoor pool.
• The bike and run courses are fairly flat with a few gently, rolling hills.
• The 2.1 mile run is out and back on a relatively flat course.
