RunFor1 is an intiative to end social injustices in Kansas City. In 2016, our focus is the ending of Sex Trafficking in Kansas City! We are supporting two local organizations, Exodus Cry and Restoration House as they work to end modern day slavery. Join us as we make a difference in Kansas City!
Event details and schedule
Packet pick up will be Friday, April 1 at KC Running Company's store in Leawood Kansas. If you are unable to pick up your packet the day before, we will have packet pick up on race day from 8:30-9:30 a.m.
The Kids Fun Run will begin at 9:30 a.m. as the kids run the bases at the ballpark and will also have the opportunity to pose for a picture with Sizzle, the T-Bones mascot!
Race lineup will start at 9:45 a.m. with faster paced runners at the front, followed by joggers, then walkers, and finally any parents with strollers and small children.
Send off is at 10:00 a.m.
An awards ceremony will follow the race with medals for first and second place finishers in each age division (male and female).
We will have lots of vendor booths set up and inflatables and a playground for the kids as well!
