This year is the 21st ANNUAL COLUMBUS TRIATHLON & DUATHLON!

The swim is an out-and-back course starting in the Tipton Lakes Marina. The bike course consists of flat to rolling hills through the countryside of Bartholomew County The run course is flat and on roads within the Tipton Lakes Neighborhood (3.1 miles). 

Race Package Pick Up FRIDAY AUGUST 5th from 5pm-7pm at The Tipton Lakes Marina. Pick up your Race Package, free meal for registered athletes, (food available for purchase for non registered athletes). Complimentary boat rides and free bike tune ups, courtesy of Tipton Lakes Association and The Bicycle Station.

Race Day Registration SATURDAY AUGUST 6th From 6:00 am to 7:00 am. Registration will close at 7:30 am. ID required at registration. NO EXCEPTIONS. ***Important Notice!** Race-Day Registration will be subject to availability only. T-shirts and Goodie Bag, also subject to availability.

Mandatory Pre-Race Meeting A mandatory pre-race meeting will begin at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, August 6. RACE START is at 8:00 a.m. The Challenge is a USAT Sanctioned race. Approved helmets must be worn during the bicycling portion of the race. All USAT Rules apply.

Early Bird EARLY BIRD ENTRY FEES: Entries postmarked after July 30th must add $10 to entry fees.

Parking Plan to arrive early and be watchful and mindful of instructional parking signs.

Participants may compete in either the age division, relay team division or weight division (if applicable). The top three teams in each division will receive awards. Additionally, individual awards will be given to the top three male and female participants in each of the following age divisions: 14-17, 18-20, 21-24, 25-29, 30-34,35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64,65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84,and 85+. **Starting in 2006, USAT rules states that a participant's age for awards be based on their age on December 31st of current year** NO ONE UNDER AGE 14 IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE.

The 2st Annual Columbus Challenge Triathlon & Duathlon will be timed by "Mattoon Multi- Sport" using the most advanced timing system - ChampionChip!*** Award presentation and post-race food will follow the event at the Tipton Lakes Marina. Race registrations are capped at 450. MISCELLANEOUS: Participants will receive a race t-shirt, swim cap, and post-race food. Race results will be available at www.FoundationForYouth.com. Entry fees are non-refundable.

The Columbus Challenge Triathlon & Duathlon is a fundraiser for Foundation For Youth's Scholarship Fund. In 2014, Foundation For Youth awarded over $150,000 in scholarships. Thank you for your support!
