Get your best costume on and get ready to join us for the 3rd Annual Costumes for Kids 5K fun Run/Walk to benefit Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation. It will begin at the Downtown Prescott Courthouse Square and make its way through historic Prescott including the iconic Mt. Vernon Street. Costume attire is not required but definitley encouraged. This event is untimed and provides fun for the entire family. Children under 5 are free to participate. All registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt before the event. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes! Tell your friends. Team registration is available at a discount. There will also be activites including face painting and balloon animals as well as education and demonstrations. You won't want to miss it!
Event details and schedule
Yavapai CASA for Kids Foundation serves the unmet needs of abused, neglected, and abandoned youth up to age 21 who are or have been in foster care.
This untimed 3 mile fun run/walk will begin at 10:00am. Plan on arriving 30 minutes prior to start time to pick up your commemorative t-shirt. Start and finish line will be located at the Downtown Prescott Courthouse Square on Gurley Street and wind around beautiful historic settings during the picturesque fall season. Costumes are not required but definitely encouraged! Prizes awarded for best individual costume and best team costumes! It will be fun for the whole family including giveaways, facepainting, education and demonstrations.
