Dash of the Dead 5K Race & Chase is just that! We’re just trying to survive! This is an untimed event full of fun for everyone. Zombies don't care about the weather, so this is a rain or shine event. The course is a 5K walk, run, dash, skip, jump, hop, or whatever gets you to the finish line on foot. Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to come and enjoy this event as a spectator with no cover charge to watch. You will be given 2 flags (AKA life lines) per participant with your starter pack. There will be opportunities to purchase more flags with a maximum of 5 flags per racer. All flags need to be attached at the start of the race. Zombies are always hungry and will attempt to take away your flags throughout the course. Only 1 flag can be removed at a time. When all your flags have been removed you are “infected,” but that doesn't mean the race and chase is over. Just continue to the finish line. Your goal or mission is to try and finish the race as a survivor with at least one flag (AKA life line) still attached. Please wear weather appropriate clothing and shoes that will allow you to maneuver easily through the course. Zombie costumes are strongly encouraged! Ages 8-12 need to be accompanied by an adult. Parental consent is required for anyone under the age of 18. $25 registration fee is non-refundable. All proceeds benefit the Montana Woman Foundation Scholarship Fund.
