TRIATHLETES! CYCLISTS! This is the clinic you need to be a better cyclist, triathlete, racer or rider. This 4-hour hands-on-your-bike class is conducted in a flat, safe, closed parking lot. Group instruction and interactive drills is what makes this clinic fun yet very informative. You'll learn HOW to clip-in/clip-out without falling and WHY it is so important to do so. No more, "Gosh, I hope that light stays green because I really hate to clip-out. I might fall!" Never again. After everyone masters that - which is quick - we move on to cornering, drafting, emergency stops, obstacle avoidance and wheel-touching. We review paceline riding, when to draft, how NOT to draft (triathlon) and so much more. Intimidated by changing a flat tire? Especilly the back wheel? I was, too! But you'll learn why it's no more difficlut that the front wheel! USA Cycling says this Clinic is a MUST for all riders. Come learn and have fun!
You'll want to wear whatever you wear when you go out for a bike ride. Bring a water bottle so that you can practice drinking while on the bike. (And to hold water, too!) Water and snacks provided. Everyone walks-away with a neat door prize, too!
