Mt. Olive Senior Youth is hosting its 1st ever 5k Fundraiser, “Run 2 Grace” on Saturday, April 9, 2016 to raise money in support of our youth who will be attending the Lutheran Church’s National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA, this coming July 2016. Plans are well under way to make this a fun 5k walk/run and we believe this event will be well-attended.
Mt. Olive Lutheran has been a part of the Anoka community for over 70 years. This race is not only an opportunity for our youth to fundraise for their trip to New Orleans, but it is our way to outreach, help with wellness goals, and get out into our community, as the 5k race will start from Mt. Olive and make our way through local neighborhoods to the river and finish at Mt. Olive.
Course Information:
Race Course - The 5k run will start from Mt. Olive and make its way through the local Anoka neighborhood, to the river and will finish at Mt. Olive. There will be Mile Markers and one water stop along the race course.
