2016 Du the Lakes Duathlon & 5K:
• We are a fundraiser for Two Smiles One Hope - a local not-for-profit raising funding for and community awareness of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. 7 years and counting!
Course Information:
RUN: 3 miles. A fast trail run around the beautiful Green and Round Lakes at Green Lakes State Park
BIKE: 20 miles. A fast 2 loop ride.This ride is mostly flat with a very challenging climb coming into the park. You will enjoy some very flat and fast portions of this ride!
RUN: 3 miles. A repeat of the first run.
AID STATIONS
There will be an aid station just outside the transition area providing a sports drink and water. There will also be an aid station approxmately 1.5 miles into the run course.
There will be bike support on the bike course. Athletes must carry their own supplies and are encouraged to be familiar w/ changing a tire.
