2016 Lake Guntersville Duathlon:
• A fun race on a fast and fairly flat course and takes place surrounding beautiful Lake Guntersville.
• Proceeds from the race benefit Family Services of North Alabama.
• There will also be a kids race that will begin AFTER COMPLETION OF THE MAIN RACE, somewhere around 10:45 - 11:00 am. There will be 2 kids races, one for 6-8 year olds, with a 1/4 mile run, and 2.5 mile bike, and a 1/4 mile run. The other for 9-12 year olds will have a 1/2 mile run, a 2 mile bike, and a 1/2 mile run. BOTH KIDS RACES WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE GREENWAY.
Directions:
From Hwy 431 South in Guntersville:
Take Hwy 69 West, go to second red light and take left, first building on the right.
From 431 North:
Take 69 West, third red light take left, first building on the right. Recreation Center is across the street from the grocery store, Piggly Wiggly.
