2016 Mardi Gras Masquerade 10K & 5K:
Come celebrate Mardi Gras with this iconic Masquerade Run! Enjoy beautiful March temperature while you run from the Equestrian Park Trailhead towads Railroad Pass Casino. Enjoy views of the Strip from a distance and dress-up in your Mardi Gras attire to have a chance to win the Mardi Gras Masquerade costume contest. New Half Marathon distance just added to this race!
Course Information:
- Start at Equestrian Park western most loop, stay on the southern side of the loops, running out 4 miles miles (towards Railroad Pass Casino), turn around and come back 2.5 miles before turning around again heading back towards the Railroad Casino. Make a final turnaround and run back 4.1 miles to the finish via the northern side of the loops. Finishing at Equestrian Park for your 13.1 mile run.
Directions:
- To find Equestrian Park from Las Vegas: Take I-515 to the Horizon Drive exit, at the top of the exit, turn left (east) on Horizon Drive and go( 1-1/2 miles) to Boulder Highway, turn right (south) on Boulder Highway, go south one block to the next traffic light (Equestrian). At the traffic light turn left (east) on Equestrian Drive to the corner of Magic Way.
