The 9RUN1 Challenge is an obstacle course designed to test your mind and body.  This is a one-of-a kind experience, and crossing the finish line represents a true accomplishment. The primary event theme will be centered on local public safety and help raise support for local fire, police, EMS, and hospitals. Participating in the 9RUN1 Challenge will be more than just the opportunity to compete in an exciting race, it will give people a chance to be involved with the local men and women who dedicate their lives to help serve and protect their communities.

          With 2016 being this events inaugural year presents the opportunity to establish a new race location in Chico and adapt a new event structure for our community. Since we will not be working within the parameters of established races, this gives us the creative freedom to construct a unique event.

            The course will be approximately 3.1 miles and consist of 10-14 obstacles. Each obstacle will be custom designed for this course and be created with safety and fun being our main priority. This event will be suitable for participants of all ages and ability levels. This event will be timed for those who wish to compete against each other but with multiple start times offered for those who wish to participate just for fun.

Race will take place at the Chico Mall Located at 1950 E. 20th Street in Chico California. The event will be held on May 21st 2016 and will start at 8:00am. Packet Pick up will be held at the Chico Mall on May 20th From 3:00pm-7:00pm And on the day of the event from 6:00am-7:30
