Come as a Zombie or a Human and race to survive! This 5K Fun Run will challenge every participant whether they are human or zombie! Run through an open field and over obstacles to catch humans or out run a horde of zombies.
Here’s how the race works – each participant is given a belt with (3) Life Flags. The goal is to avoid Zombie interaction and not let them take your Life Flags. If you lose all (3), you become a Zombie and must now pursue the other runners!
The proceeds will benefit the many special events presented by United Way of Garland County.
Event details and schedule
Packet Pick-Up will be the day before the race at 233 Hobson Avenue, Hot Springs, AR 71913. Of course, also at the event.
The race will begin at 9:00 AM. The Humans will be released at 9:00 AM with the Zombies following at 9:02 AM. The event should be over no later than 12:00 PM.
There will be a costume contest for the best Zombies that will start at 8:30 AM.
The course will be through fields with obstacles to manuever.
There is tons of parking available.
You don't need to bring anything but yourself and your friends.
We will provide water and snacks.
Since this IS a Zombie Fun Run - you are more than welcome to dress as a Zombie or just be a Human. Just remember that it is a run, so wear something comfy and appropriate for a race.
