This will be our 3rd annual event at the Tri Lakes Tavern. Hand Made awards, gift certificates for restaurants on the lake, and more will serve as awards. The deck at the tavern over looks transition and provides a nice vantage point for spectators. Live music as always.
Course Information:
The swim is a clockwise loop in Shriner Lake.
The bike is a very well marked course that is a lollypop with an additional out and back (turn around is very large and sweeping around a church in an asphalt parking lot). Some hills and great views make the challange very acceptable.
The run course has left even our most seasoned athletes working harder than ever for a finish. The 10k out and back course wraps around the lakes though residential roads. All nicely paved and presenting a challenge that is mostly in your mind. Water is provided at the 2.5k (7.5k) and 5k markers.
