The race starts at Carmen Reservoir, passes Koosah Falls and Sahalie Falls on Waterfall Trail. The first 2.5 miles are highly technical with a single track trail, exposed roots, rocks and curvy undulations. After participants cross a footbridge over McKenzie River, the course continues south on McKenzie River Trail, past Blue Pool, Trail Bridge Reservoir and finishes at Belknap Hot Springs Lodge & Gardens. Participants enjoy a well marked course with excellent aid stations, an hour in the hot spring pool, chip timing by Eclectic Edge Racing, age group awards, food, beer & medals.
