The 5K run will be hosted at Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. This will be a cross country style race consisting of a variety of running surfaces: grass, gravel/dirt/paved roads, and a large hill. The race will have two different start times. The male's race will begin at 9:30 AM and the female's race will begin 45 minutes later at 10:15 AM. There will be a children's fun run at the end of the female race.
Awards will be given to the top three overall finisher and to top three winner in each age group. Age groups are as follows: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-70, 71 and over.
