The producers of Swim Miami bring Swim Miami Beach, a one mile swim in beautiful North Beach. Ocean Terrace Holdings and the Days Inn on Ocean Terrace and 75th Street proudly present the first ever One Mile Open Water Swim to the area. Arguably the greatest and widest beach in South Florida, North Beach boasts an amazing family friendly environment and a booming neighborhood. It makes for the perfect destination for a premiere event. All ages and abilities are welcome to try this awesome event. Course Information:
The course will start on the beach and have an in water finish. It will be a rectangle course in a T-formation. You will begin, swim a block south, round a buoy, swim two blocks north, round another buoy and swim one block back in. Your race will finish on the beach under an archway.
Directions:
From the North:
Take I-95 South to NE 203rd/Ives Dairy Road. Take Exit 16 from I-95 S. Use the left 3 lanes to turn left onto NE 203rd/Ives Dairy Road (signs for US-1). Use the right 2 lanes to turn right on Biscayne Blvd/US-1. Take Florida A1A S to Ocean Terrace in Miami Beach.
From the South:
Take U.S. 1 N, I-95 N and I-195 E to FL-907 N in Miami Beach. Take exit 5 from I-195 E.Follow FL-907 N and Collins Ave to Ocean Terrace.
