Description:
Teams of two will compete in this “Amazing Race” style adventure race that will take them on an exhilarating ten-mile bike ride with five cheeky challenges to be completed along the way. Competitors of varying ages are welcomed, however, each team must have at least one member over the age of 16. This is an excellent opportunity for friends and families to encourage each other in physical fitness and problem solving skills. Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams. This event is a combined fundraiser for the Hood River Wrestling Club and the Columbia Gorge Ecology Institute. All funds raised through this event will go towards promoting healthy lifestyles in area youth in addition to providing meaningful athletic and educational opportunities for students in the Hood River Valley.
Bring to Class:
Each participant will need their own bike and bike helmet as well as any water and/or snacks for the duration of the race. Participants should be ready for wet and muddy conditions.
