The Martindale Triathlon is reputed to be the oldest triathlon in Texas. The triathlon consists of a 7 mile run, 16 mile bike and 5.5 mile paddle on the picturesque San Marcos River. The bike and run courses are on rural roads around the quaint hamlet of Martindale, Texas. Race begins at Spencer Canoes/Shady Grove Campground. Overnight camping is available. Hot meal provided after the race.
