The Tsali Adventure Triathlon is a 3-mile paddle, 5-mile trail run, and 12-mile mountain bike triathlon at Tsali Recreation Area. Enjoy stunning views of Lake Fontana and Smoky Mountain National Park while cruising the fast, rolling single-track trails that make up the race-course.
Registration is now open for individuals and teams.
Course Information:
- 3-mile lake paddle: Participants use any length canoe, kayak or SUP. There is no handicap for longer boats.
- 5-mile trail run: along Tsali's Right Loop First Alt. Rolling singletrack, mild climbs, and lakeside views. The last mile is a mild descent along a USFS gravel road, so save some energy for passing on your way back to the transition zone.
- 12-mile mountain bike: along Tsali's Left Loop. This fast singletrack trail is renowned as one of the premier mountain bike trails on the east coast. Expect moderate difficulty, great views, and variable terrain.
