Come Run Wild With Us! Join us for the 5th Annual ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk. This year's run/walk takes place on Sunday, October 11th at Tucson's Reid Park Zoo and features a 10K, 5K, and Fun Zoo Walk. All registrations include entry into the zoo and a dri-fit shirt or cape for children under the age of nine. The race will be followed by a post-race ZooBash with awards, photobooth, lots of fun kids activities, music, awesome raffle prizes, and refreshments. Please join us for the this community event with fun for the whole family as we recognize those affected by prostate cancer and raise much needed funds for prostate cancer research, treatment, and awareness.
Did you know? 1 in 7 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer. It is the second leading cause of cancer death among American men and is the most commonly diagnosed with an estimated 233,000 new cases of prostate cancer expected in 2015. We know about the ta-tas, what about the Papas?
Course Information:
The 10K and 5K courses are professionally timed and measured. Both courses leave from Tucson's Reid Park Zoo and go through the safe, fast, and scenic Del Urich Golf Course. The races both have a spectacular finish around Reid Park Lake. The Fun Zoo Walk is great for the little ones. It is a non-timed, leisurely walk through the zoo. Plus, kids 9 and under receive a superhero cape to honor the heroes in their lives!
