The Sourland Spectacular is here again!
The Sourland Mountain area is a magnet for cyclists from throughout New Jersey and beyond, who come for the low-traffic roads, lovely woods, scenic vistas, mountain streams and postcard- perfect farmland. Routes range from 24 miles to 63 miles (a “metric century”). Check our web site for details. Even the shortest route involves climbing hills!
The Sourland Spectacular is known for its fabulous lunch. We choose the very best vendors, who prepare your meal on site. Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be avilable. As the date of the event approaches, check our web site for a listing of the specific vendors selected for this year’s event.
Rest stops staffed by friendly volunteers are located at appropriate intervals along the routes. Water and Gatorade are available in abundance, along with peanut butter and jelly, fresh fruit, pretzels and other snacks. Each rest stop will have rest room facilities, a tire pump and maps.
